Insulated Storage Tanks

The J. L. Houston Co. manufacturers insulated storage tanks for the storage of products where it is important to maintain a specific or constant temperature.  These tanks are available in many configurations.  We offer vertical tanks with flat bottoms as well as conical bottoms on skirt or leg supports.  We also over horizontal tanks with either saddle or skid style supports. 

Our standard insulation system consists of 2” to 8” fiberglass depending on the R-Value requirements. Additional Low-E insulation can be added to increase the value and decrease the overall diameter.  Weather protection is provided over the insulation by a layer of 29-gauge metal sheeting.

Optional accessories can include insulated doors for skirt access, optional ladder and handrail systems, and heating systems.  Other configurations, insulation variations, and finishings may be available open request.
